Krásny piatok želám. Minulú sobotu sme sa prvý krát zúčastnili "Bonfire Night" alebo "Guy Fawkes Night". Moc sme si to užili a na to že už je november, tak nám nebola zima. Začínalo to o 6 večer, najprv zapálili vatru a popri tom tam mali plno atrakcií, kolotoče, jedlo a na záver ohňostroj ktorý bol nádherný.

Dôvod prečo slávia tento deň je to výročie sprisahania, neúspešného pokusu vyhodiť do vzduchu budovu parlamentu v Londýne v roku 1605.

V tento deň je v UK mnoho festivalov, ľudia vychádzajú do ulíc s vatrami, púšťajú sa ohňostroje, spievajú piesne. Taktiež si môžte prísť užiť ich tradičné jedlo, nápoje, hudbu a iné aktivity.
Have a nice Friday. Last Saturday we been on "Bonfire Night" or "Guy Fawkes Night" for the first time. We really enjoyed it. It´s already November, and it wasn´t cold weather in the evening. It started at 6 pm, at first they lit a fire and you can enjoy there a lot of attractions, food and in the end was fireworks, that were beautiful.

Why do people celebrate it ?
The reason we do it is because it's the anniversary of a failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605.
What people do on this day ?
There are many festivals in the UK, people go to the streets, have fireworks, sing songs. You can also come and enjoy their traditional food, drinks, music and other activities.
